In response to the lack of quality educational institutions and programs in District 5, one of NYC’s lowest performing school districts, ADC operates The Abyssinian Head Start, and sponsors the Thurgood Marshall Academy Lower School and the Thurgood Marshall Academy for Learning and Social Change.
