Senior Services
ADC’s senior programs support elderly housed at Abyssinian Towers, our 99-unit Senior Citizen housing development, Ennis Francis Houses, and the community-at-large. ADC provides a range of services from case management & referrals to recreational activities.
In 2009, ADC launched a new programmatic component, a Neighborhood NORC Supportive Service Program to serve elderly residents in Central Harlem. The Harlem Neighborhood Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (Harlem NNORC) provides and coordinates comprehensive housing and supportive medical & social services that allow seniors to maintain their independence and successfully age in place.
